May 5th

Here is the Mexican flag.

Today is Cinco de Mayo. Here are some Mexican Dancers.
Cinco de Mayo is celebrated because the Mexican army won a war against the French in the town of Puebla. The Army was small and the United States celebrates the holiday because it reminds us that you can do anything if you put your mind and effort into it.

The Month of May for Mary

Aunt Joann sent us a box full of goodies. We got a bunch of stuff so that we can celebrate the month of May for Mary.
Here we are after saying the Rosary. Here is Emeline with her silly smile. Joann sent the crocheted roses. There is a white one for the Our Father and a red one for each Hail Mary in a decade. Amy made these Rosaries for us. Thank you Aunt Joann!!
