Dear Kaya

Dear Kaya,

It must have been scary being captured. You were brave because you escaped from the raiders. If I was you I wouldn't leave my sister alone. It would make me feel bad. I hope you get your horse back. My mom made American Dolls of you and the rest of them.
Love,
Josie

Dear Josie and Georgia,
Please let us know how this book is ! This is one Sarah has not read yet. She LOVES American Girl stories and movies. Her very favorite movie was the Felicity holiday story. Have you seen it?
I'm reading a story about an Amish family. I know you have Amish people near where you live. We don't have any Amish here in NH. My favorite thing to do every night is to get into my pj's, turn on my electric blanket and hop into bed with a good book!!! Sally lays at my feet, silly dog! ;)
Enjoy your story!
love

I didn't know that you cared so much about your sister Josie. Keep being good buddies and you will always have a best friend. Love You Girls Dad

Georgia, Gracie and I finished the first Kaya books a few weeks ago. We loved that book! Maybe we will make some Kaya paper dolls like your mom made--they are great!

Love, Aunt Joann

Josie your American Girl dolls are just wonderful and what make them even more special is that your Mom made them. We're looking forward to hearing all about Kaya.

Dear Girls,
We love to hear what you girls have been reading. We have never read those books and enjoy the "book reports." You both do a great job.
Love to your whole family.
