Saint Josephine Bakhita by JosieSaint Josephine was kidnapped and became a slave. Nobody had taught her about God but when she saw the sun, moon and stars she said who made all this beautiful stuff, I would like to know them and pray to them. She finally did learn about God and became a nun. Kids used to love he because she used to pat them on the head. She was always smiling even though she suffered a lot. At the end of her life she was really sick and as she was dying she saw Mary and said Our Lady Our Lady!. Those were her last words. She is the patron Saint of Sudan, where she was born and is special to those who suffer.
